Position

In order to develop its sales team in Bulgaria, our client is looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of

 

Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

 

Reporting to the Country Manager, the person on this position will be involved in strategic commercial activities in the Retail, B2B and DIY segments, leading a team of salespersons and having as a priority the continuous improvement of the relations with existing customers.

 

The role:

  • Develops and implements the company’s commercial strategy and boosts brand awareness
  • Identifies and qualifies profitable sales opportunities and progresses these through to successful conversion and presentations
  • Cooperates with key accounts during design, set up and duration of a project to ensure the customer has all the necessary support available in a timely manner
  • Works with customers to proactively identify potential project barriers and develop solutions
  • Follows the market trends and the competition and identifies opportunities for sales growth
  • Trains, guides and evaluates the sales personnel
  • Contributes to an effective operational problem-solving

 

 

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • Relevant University degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and proven records in team management
  • Excellent knowledge of the dry-mix construction chemical or decorative paint market
  • Good access to Distributors, retail stores, DIY chains and construction companies
  • Understanding of key financial elements and marketing principles
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex deals with senior decision makers
  • Excellent English language skills
  • High computer literacy
  • Availability for a frequent travelling within and outside Bulgaria
